Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Loxieo has no servers, no databases, and no user accounts. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any of your files or data. All encryption and decryption happens entirely in your browser on your device.

What we store

Nothing. Your files never leave your device during the encryption process. The sealed vault file is created locally in your browser. We have no ability to access, read, or decrypt your documents.

Cookies and tracking

The Loxieo tool uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts. If you visit our website, standard web server logs may record your IP address and browser type. These logs are not associated with any user identity.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you purchase a Pro subscription, your payment information is collected and processed entirely by Stripe. Loxieo never receives, sees, or stores your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data.

Encryption details

Loxieo uses AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation (600,000 iterations, SHA-256). Your passphrase is never stored anywhere. If you lose your passphrase, your files cannot be recovered — by you, by us, or by anyone. This is by design.

Law enforcement

Because we do not store, transmit, or have access to your encrypted data, we have nothing to provide in response to a subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request. We cannot decrypt your files because we do not have your passphrase or your data.

Children's privacy

Loxieo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect nothing, changes are unlikely to affect you.
